Dr. Scholl's® For Her Comfort Insoles Saved NNO For Me!
National Night Out was tonight which meant hours on my feet chasing cub scouts around the courthouse square. Normally, I dread events like this mainly because I know my feet are going to ache the rest of the night. Tonight I am thanking my lucky stars for my new Dr. School's inserts sent to me by Influenster to review. Many insoles do not stand up to the abuse of a plus size woman but these continue to take the punishment and not let me down. I will be putting them to the ultimate test later in the month when we go to the fall family campout. I was dreading hiking all over the camp but now I am looking forward to it and hopeful that I won't feel like never standing again when we get home.
Annie's Homegrown Gluten Free Rice Pasta and Cheddar Review
Let me start out by saying we are not a Gluten Free household but it never hurts to reduce the gluten we are taking in daily so I was beyond thrilled to try a bowl of microwavable gluten free mac n' cheese when Influenster sent it to me. The cup of rice pasta took under 2.5 minutes to cook and the real cheese sauce is instantly gooey and delicious. We did have to wait a few minutes because it was so very hot. All three of the kids devoured the one bowl we had with rave reviews from all (Boogey Bear had a fit when it was gone....seems his first taste of mac n cheese and he is hooked lol). The older kids said we needed to go to the store to buy more. I guess it is easy to say we have found a quick, easy to make lunch item here at our house.
Joe Paterno's Family Responds to NCAA Punishment of Penn State
Joe Paterno's family has released a statement in response to the NCAA
punishment of Penn State. Thankfully someone decided to stand up for a
dead man who cannot stand up for himself. Paterno is being villainized
by the Freeh report that contradicts findings by law enforcement, the
grand jury and the courts. Paterno's family and legal counsel have been
denied access to the evidence mentioned in the Freeh report which in and
of itself is unjust. The accused should be able to view the evidence
against him and since Joe Pa is dead, his legal counsel and family
should be given that opportunity.

Chris Collins: 'People Now Don't Die' of Cancer...Another GOP Candidate Has No Clue
Chris Collins, a GOP candidate for the House of Representatives out of
New York, spoke out saying that "people now don't die" of prostate or
breast cancer. Of course as word spread about Collins' statement he
began to back peddle hard and fast. Claiming his words were taken out of
context and blaming the fact that he is not a politician and comes from
the private sector. Like that is going to make anyone feel any better.

Rick Perry Admits "I'm Not Politically Correct"
Rick Perry isn't surprising anyone when he says he is not politically correct; but that is definitely what his new campaign video is all about. After a major fallout where the presidential candidate bashed gays in the military and President Obama, Perry is now saying that his political incorrectness is just what people need in Washington. Perry makes claims that Washington insiders are bankrupting America and that the government is giving aid money to opposing countries. The whole reason he points these things out is to say that it is not politically correct to mention them in Washington.Google Apps Mega-Deal Great For IT
While Google Apps was originally put out in 2007 with a focus on small businesses, the ever-growing enterprise IT features have been targeted to large companies, according to InfoWorld. With these large companies coming on board, Google should have more incentive to improve and upgrade Apps in a way that will benefit IT across the board. As large companies become more comfortable moving collaboration and communication software to the cloud, smaller businesses are seeing an uptick in the usefulness of cloud softwares.

Apple Releases Mobile Software Update for iOS5
Apple's newest operating system iOS5.0 has already gotten an update. The new system iOS5.0.1 is meant to fix a major battery issue iPhone 4S users have been in an uproar over. The new update also provided fixes to multiple bugs discovered after iOS5's release. Hopefully this quick fix is better than the one meant to fix Antennagate of iPhone 4. The over-the-air update was received by most users on Thursday but plenty of people were voicing issues with the update--specifically an update meant to improve battery life that could not be downloaded by those with less than 50-percent battery remaining on their device. Talk about ironic.
