I have been writing professionally since 2009 at a number of online publications. My writing now often revolves around current events including the Occupy Wall Street movement and upcoming presidential election. My work is not traditional journalism but commentary on the world around me. I also write internet content for many sites on topics ranging from green living to parenting to home improvement.

Not your typical old-time writer, you will not find my desk littered with cigarettes or alcohol. Instead my vice is Pepsi. In fact I would likely work for Pepsi if I could get away with it. My other vice is pens. If I see pens that I think are pretty, I tend to purchase them. Thankfully a reasonable number can be used for work otherwise I may have broke myself with a pen collection.

My family and I reside in a valley in Utah. The amazing views of the mountains that wrap around me are a source of energy to my writing. The snow on the ground keeps me inside writing while the gorgeous summers are an insane distraction. If you have never been here, you are missing out on a beautiful piece of this country.
